Thanks for using the site.  It is becoming a main stream means of communicating current information to Member's. It is of course recognised that there are some Members without personal access to the internet.

Will Section Leaders please consider sorting out a "Buddy System" so that section members, who are not on the internet, link with a local member that is; not necessarily in the same section of course, so that they can benefit from messages.  The secretary will continue to provide hard copies for members registered with him as not being internet users, but sometimes things can't really wait for the next Rehearsal. Our aim is to phase out the paper copies eventually.
 
Regarding the next message below headed Next Event.  If your name was on the list and yours  plans change please let Ken Beevers know. Our numbers have made a significant impact on the BLC catering arrangements and if our numbers change we should let them know in advance.

Sunday 5 Sept 6.30pm Roundswell Community Hall:
 
 Last night party for BLC's visiting ladies choir 

 from Uelzen. BMVC members were invited to attend.


PLEASE NOTE THE LIST IS NOW CLOSED and only
 
those who signed up are expected. (Chairman's
 
e.mail of 29 July refers).
 
 
 20 members have accepted the invitation by signing
 
the list.  Wives/Partners are included.
The choir will not be present as a Choir and

uniform will not be required.  Those present will be

asked to join with the ladies to sing two numbers. 

The items are to be confirmed but are expected to be
 
'Look at the World' (Rutter) and 'You raise me up'.
 
We will use music for the first item and you may bring
 
BMVC music.

15th Sept.(Wed)  Emmanuel Church Ilfracombe start 8.15pm.  Please arrive no later than 8.00pm  Programme of music will be :
 
Glorious Devon.
 
1st Set: Roman War Song;  At the River;  Gloria;  Devon boys do it Dreckly.
 
Solo: Rachel Forbes
 
2nd Set: When the Saints;  Song of the Jolly Roger;  Calm is the Sea;  You'll never
                 Walk alone;  There's a River.
 
Interval
 
3rd Set:  Rachie;  Beautiful Land/Walk in the Light; Timeless Moment:  You raise me
                Up.
 
Solo: Rachel Forbes. 
 
4th Set:  Deus Salutis;  Steal Away:  Nessun Dorma:  Salute Africa.
