Barnstaple Male voice Choir was pleased to present a cheque for £1600 from the proceeds from our joint concert with Carry on Choir last December.
Suzi Marsh, Fundraising and Communications Officer at FiG, said “We are grateful to have been chosen by Barnstaple Male Voice Choir. We had a great evening with both choirs and the monies raised will support our work in the local community. At FIG we support bereaved children, young people, and their families in North Devon and Torridge, helping them to understand and move forward with their grief. Last year we supported over 200 local children, and we hope to do even more this year as we celebrate our 20th anniversary. This donation will help us ensure that no family has to face grief alone.” |

CAROL concert presentation
On Monday 18th February we were honoured to present a donation cheque for £900.00 to the Local Blue Elephant Future Steps Charity representing the profit of our joint Christmas concert
where we were joined by the Chivenor Military Ladies Choir.
The charity helps to develop and work with children leaving residential children’s
homes in Devon and the South West.

2024 Concerts commence

Our 2024 concerts commenced on Saturday 23rd March with a wonderful concert at Barnstaple Baptist Church with guests "Twin Harmony" who last appeared with us in 2018. |

Gemma Rous from the Penguin Sports Foundation attended our practice on 12th February to receive a cheque for the proceeds from our Annual Carol Concert in December 2023. This represented the net proceeds of our concert with the Barnstaple Ladies Choir. |
