Some Extracts from e-mails received by the choir. Mrs Megan Sanders... Heritage & Cultural Manager Barnstaple Town Council.
Good afternoon Tony, Please can you pass on a big thank you to the members of the choir who joined us last night. The carol service was really busy, and everyone loved the new carols! We really do appreciate your continued support of the Christmas Fayre. Kind regards Megan .
Dear Gentlemen, I wish to express my sincere thanks to all BMVC guys and their "better halves" who took the trouble, in rather unpleasant weather, to make the journey to Holsworthy yesterday evening.
I was at the Chapel until the very last moment and the feedback that I was receiving was "second to none"!
The Deputy Mayor of Holsworthy had never heard our choir before and he was so pleased to have been present as a replacement for the "Mayor proper". He will be sure to spread good words about BMVC - as will the Area District Governor of Rotary and another of my friends who is a Cornish Bard, his award having been given to services to music. (He has, in the past, taken an augmented male voice choir to Australia and even gained access for them to sing in the Sydney Opera House, so he certainly "knows his stuff"!)
Extract of email received from Northam Lodge...
Dear Mr Blake. On behalf of myself, and all of us here at Northam Lodge, and thefundraising committee we really wanted to thank you for your performance at the concert held recently in aid of Northam Lodge. It was a great pleasure to work with you and the choir during the event and along with the Military Wives; we think you sounded just great.

I am the Secretary of St. Peter’s Social & Fund Raising Committee and I have been asked to pass on our thanks for the Choir’s wonderful performance last Saturday 14th October.
Everyone has remarked on how enjoyable the evening was. The Bluebells were a glorious addition to the evenings entertainment too. We very much look forward to making a booking with you for next year.
Email received from Bluebelles MD ... Apologies for the lateness of my response, it’s a very busy season for me recording in Schools all over the UK at the moment. But I did want to say a big thank you to yourself and the Gents of Barnstaple MVC for making us so welcome when we joined you on stage a couple of weeks ago. I know all the BlueBelles had a fantastic time and really enjoyed every aspect of the concert, the pre concert tea and the after glow. Thank you for all the time and trouble you took to organise such a wonderful event and we very much look forward to welcoming you to join us in Wiltshire soon.

2015 NEWS The highlight of the first six months of this calendar year has been the very successful short concert tour to Susa in Northern Italy undertaken in May/June. One of Barnstaple's twin towns, Susa was a fitting location for the Choir that so proudly wears the Towns arms on its uniform. Concerts included a joint concert in the wonderful Susa Cathedral. A concert much enjoyed by the huge audience and of course by the Choir and their hosts.. The forty Choristers were joined by wives and partners as usual and the group of seventy six enjoyed great hospitality, and took advantage of the pre-arranged social programme organised by the Choir Secretary.
